99exch WhatsApp Number: How the Desk Chat Works and Who to Trust
People search "99exch WhatsApp number" expecting one official line. There is not one. Here is how the number question actually works, what a desk chat can do, and how to avoid the lookalikes.
The 99exch exchange does not run a WhatsApp helpline. Desks do. Every ID on 99exch was created by a desk, and the number that matters to you is that desk's number, because it is the only one that can reset your password, load your deposit or pay your withdrawal. Search for a "99exch WhatsApp number" and you are really choosing which desk to trust. This page explains what that chat can and cannot do, how to pick a desk, and how to spot the lookalike numbers that use the 99exch name to collect deposits.
One desk chat handles everything about a 99exch ID. That is the whole support model.
What the 99exch WhatsApp number can sort for you
A desk chat is not customer service in the call-centre sense. It is the counter where your account actually lives. Here is what we do in ours, and roughly what to send so it is fast.
| You need | Send | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| A 99exch new ID or demo ID | "New ID" or "Demo ID", a name, a username you want, UPI or bank | Username, temporary password and panel link come back in the chat |
| A password reset | Your username. Not the old password | We confirm the ID is yours from chat history and send a temporary password |
| A deposit loaded | Ask for payment details first; then amount, time, UTR, screenshot | We match the UTR and load the same amount on your ID |
| A withdrawal | Amount, your own UPI ID or bank details | We check exposure, process it, and tell you the timing in the chat |
| The panel will not open | Screenshot with the address bar visible | We send the current extension address, for example 99exch green or red |
| Pause or close the ID | "Pause" with a date, or "Close" | We do it, confirm in writing, and do not reopen early |
| A rule question | Ask it | We answer before you deposit, in writing, so you can hold us to it |
What the chat cannot do: change odds, reverse a settled bet, or override the panel's limits. If a desk promises any of those, it is not describing 99exch.
Lookalike 99exch WhatsApp numbers
Because there is no official number, anyone can post one. Quote sites, forum threads, video descriptions and social bios list "99exch official WhatsApp" numbers that belong to nobody in particular. Some are honest desks advertising. Some are collecting first deposits and disappearing. You cannot tell by the number. You can tell by behaviour.
- A real desk answers questions first. Ask what the minimum deposit is, how long a payout takes, what happens if a deposit is not credited. A lookalike pushes for the payment before answering.
- A real desk never asks for OTP, UPI PIN or card details. None of those are needed for anything on 99exch. One such request ends the conversation.
- A real desk does not charge for the ID. "Activation fee", "ID charge" and "verification deposit" are scam phrases.
- A real desk pays to your own name. It will say so, and it will decline third-party payouts.
- A real desk does not switch numbers mid-conversation. If a new number messages you about "your 99exch ID", confirm in the original chat before replying.
Our is 99exch safe guide lists the wider risks, including the ones that apply to honest desks too.
How to use the 99exch WhatsApp number well
A few habits make the chat faster for you and safer for your money.
- Keep one chat. Everything about your ID in the same thread, from the same number. That history is how we verify you for a reset.
- Pay only to details sent today. Payment details can change. Ask for them each time; never pay to a message from last week.
- Send the UTR every time. The 12-digit reference in your UPI app or bank statement is what lets us match a payment in seconds.
- Delete the temporary password message after you have changed it.
- Screenshot with the address bar when something will not open. The address is the diagnosis.
- Say the word "pause" if you need a break. We will hold it.
The contact page has the same button as this page plus the hours we are usually fastest. The deposit guide and withdrawal guide explain the money side of the chat in full.
The most common message: "link not opening"
On any given week the single most common thing sent to a 99exch WhatsApp number is a screenshot of a page that will not load. The cause is almost always a network block on one extension address. The fix is a different extension: 99exch green, 99exch red or 99exch win, whichever is currently open on your network. Same ID, same password, same balance. The desk sends it; you open it, log in, re-pin the icon and carry on. Do not search for the alternative yourself. The 99exch login page explains why the link, not the password, is the thing to protect.
What the desk checks before it acts on your message
You see a reply. Behind it there is a short routine, and knowing it explains why some requests take a minute and others take ten.
| Your request | We check | Why it takes the time it takes |
|---|---|---|
| New ID | Age statement, that the username is free | Fast; panel creation is immediate |
| Deposit credit | UTR against our incoming payments, amount, that the details were today's | Fast with a UTR; slow without one |
| Withdrawal | Exposure is zero, name on the payout account matches the ID holder, request came from the original number | Name mismatch stops it until resolved |
| Password reset | Request is from the number that opened the ID, or passes a verification question | Fast on the original number |
| Current link | Which extension we have most recently confirmed open on your operator | Immediate |
| Pause or close | Nothing; we act, then confirm in writing | Immediate, by design |
The withdrawal row is the one that causes friction. If the UPI ID you send is in someone else's name, we stop. Not because we doubt you, but because paying to a third party is how a stolen ID gets emptied and how desks get blamed for it. Send your own, and the withdrawal guide timings apply.
Groups, broadcast lists and the 99exch WhatsApp number
A real desk talks to you one-to-one. The moment 99exch and a group chat meet, the risk changes shape.
- Tips groups. Paid or free groups that post "sure" session calls alongside a WhatsApp number for IDs. The calls are noise; nobody predicts a live exchange market. The number is the product being sold.
- Broadcast lists. A desk may send a one-way broadcast about a new extension. That is fine. A broadcast asking everyone to deposit to a new account "urgently" is a compromised number or a scam. Confirm in your one-to-one chat before paying.
- Groups where players share links. Well-meaning, and dangerous. A link in a group is only as trustworthy as the person who posted it, and clones get posted by people who do not know they are clones.
- Groups asking for screenshots of balances. Your username is in those screenshots. Do not.
One rule covers all four: money and credentials move only in your one-to-one chat with the desk that issued your ID. Everything else is conversation.
When a 99exch WhatsApp number goes quiet
Desks are people with phones. Phones break, numbers get banned by WhatsApp for sending too many messages, and sometimes a desk simply stops. Here is how to tell the difference and what to do.
| What you see | Likely | Do |
|---|---|---|
| Single tick for hours on a match night | Desk phone off or overloaded | Wait; do not pay anyone else |
| Number shows as unavailable or deleted | WhatsApp ban or number change | Check your last messages for an alternate number the desk gave earlier; otherwise wait a day |
| A new number messages you claiming to be the desk | Could be genuine, could be a lookalike | Ask something only the real desk knows from your chat history before trusting it |
| Weeks of silence | The desk has stopped | Your ID still exists on the panel; the balance is a claim on that desk. Withdraw if you can log in; see below |
If your desk disappears with your balance
This is the risk of the desk model and we will not pretend otherwise. The exchange does not refund you; your relationship was with the desk. What you can do: keep logging in and record the balance; keep the chat as evidence; ask the panel's listed support, where one exists, whether the agent account has been reassigned. Recovery is uncommon. Prevention is withdrawing regularly so that the amount at risk on any day is small, which is the advice on every money page of this site, including the withdrawal guide.
Language
Our desk reads and writes English and Hindi, and Hinglish is fine. If you are more comfortable in another language, say so; short clear messages work in any language, and the templates above translate well.
Message templates that get the fastest answer from a 99exch desk
Desks work through a queue. A message that contains everything needed is answered in one reply; a message that says "deposit not showing" needs three follow-ups. Copy these and fill in the blanks.
New ID
"New 99exch ID please. Name for account: ___. Username I'd like: ___. Deposit by UPI. First time on an exchange: yes/no."
Deposit
"Deposit for username ___: ₹___ paid at __:__ today by UPI. UTR ___. Screenshot attached." Ask for the payment details first in a separate message, and only pay to the ones sent today.
Deposit not credited
"Username ___. Paid ₹___ at __:__ to the details you sent today. UTR ___. Not showing on balance yet." With the UTR, matching takes seconds.
Withdrawal
"Withdrawal for username ___: ₹___ to UPI ID ___ (my own name). Exposure is zero." Check exposure first; open bets block a payout.
Password reset
"Reset request for username ___. Screenshot of the address bar attached." Do not include the old password.
Link not opening
"Username ___. Link not loading on mobile data, works on Wi-Fi / does not work on either. Screenshot with address bar attached."
Pause or close
"Pause my ID ___ until [date]. Do not reopen early." Or: "Close my ID ___ and refund the balance to the account I deposited from."
What response times from a 99exch WhatsApp number actually look like
We will not print a promise like "instant" because it would be false twice a week. Here is the honest shape of a desk's day, so you know when to expect what.
| Time | What the desk is doing | Typical wait for a reply | Payouts |
|---|---|---|---|
| Morning | Clearing overnight withdrawal requests, resets | Short | Processed in order |
| Afternoon | New IDs, rule questions, deposits | Short | Processed |
| Evening match start | Deposit matching peaks | Longer; UTRs are being matched one by one | Slower |
| Late night after a match | Withdrawal requests peak | Longer | Often queued to the morning |
| IPL and big-series nights | Everything at once | Longest of the year | Expect morning |
Practical consequence: deposit before the match starts, not during the first over, and request withdrawals in the daytime when you can. The withdrawal guide has the full timing picture.
When you and the desk disagree
It happens. A deposit you are sure you made, a bet you are sure you did not place, a withdrawal that took longer than said. Here is how a dispute is handled on a well-run desk, and what you can reasonably expect.
- Deposit disputes are settled by the UTR. If the UTR shows a successful payment to the details we sent that day, the credit is ours to make. If it shows pending or failed, your bank is the next call. If it shows a payment to details we did not send that day, we cannot credit it, and we will say so plainly.
- Bet disputes are settled by the panel's bet list, which both sides can see. A bet in the list was placed from your session. If you believe your session was not yours, the fix is a password change and a review of the login history, not a reversal; the exchange does not reverse matched bets.
- Settlement disputes (a session result you think is wrong) go upstream. The desk cannot change a result; it can ask the panel to review, and will tell you the outcome.
- Withdrawal timing is the desk's own responsibility. If we said morning and it is afternoon, that is on us, and you should say so.
What we will not do is argue in circles. If a question has a factual answer in the UTR or the bet list, that answer stands for both sides.
What a 99exch desk keeps about you, and what it does not
You are messaging a stranger about money. You should know what the stranger retains.
| Kept | Why | Not kept |
|---|---|---|
| The chat itself | It is the verification record for resets and the audit trail for money | Your password; we never see it |
| Your username and display name | To find you on the panel | ID documents; we delete any you send |
| UTRs and amounts | To match deposits | Your UPI PIN or card details |
| The UPI ID or account you withdraw to | To pay you, in your name only | Your location or device details |
If you close your ID, the chat remains on both phones unless you delete your side; we keep ours as the money record. The privacy page says the same thing in formal language.
Switching desks
You can. Your 99exch ID stays with the desk that created it, so a new desk means a new ID and a fresh balance. Withdraw from the old one first, then ask the new desk for an ID the normal way. A desk that makes leaving difficult is telling you something about staying.
99exch WhatsApp number questions
There is not one. 99exch is an exchange that works through independent desks, and each desk has its own number. The number you should save is the one belonging to the desk that issued your ID. Ours is behind every WhatsApp button on this site.
You can, but you are choosing a desk at random, and a lot of the numbers posted on quote sites, forums and video descriptions are lookalikes collecting deposits. Pick a desk that answers rule questions before it asks for money, and that never asks for OTP or PIN.
Everything that touches your ID: issue a new 99exch ID or demo ID, reset a login or withdrawal password, match a deposit to a UTR, process a withdrawal, send the current panel address when one is blocked, and pause or close an ID.
Treat it as a lookalike until proven otherwise. Desks do not hand your chat to other numbers without telling you first in the original chat. Do not pay anything to a new number; ask in your original chat whether the message is genuine.
Most desks, ours included, answer late into the night during cricket and respond to overnight messages first thing. Payouts requested very late are usually processed the next morning. We will tell you the timing in the chat rather than promise a number here.
No. The ID is free, the chat is free. The only money that moves is the deposit you choose to make, and only to payment details sent in your current chat.
