Welcome to 99exch: What the First Screen Is and How to Check It
The phrase "welcome to 99exch" is the tab title of the panel's first screen. Here is what that screen is, how to check it is real, and what to do once you are through it.
Open the 99exch panel and the first thing you see is not the login form. It is a splash screen: the 99exch logo, a line of welcome text and a login button. The browser tab reads "Welcome to 99exch". That title is why thousands of people type the phrase into search every month, usually because they want to get back to a page they saw yesterday. This page covers what that screen is, why it exists, the clones that copy it, and the first ten minutes after it.
The welcome screen does one thing: hand you to the 99exch login.
Why 99exch shows a welcome screen at all
Most white-label exchange panels, 99exch included, serve a static landing page in front of the application. It loads fast even on a poor connection, it tells the browser the page title, and it gives the panel a place to show a notice when something has changed, such as a new extension address or a maintenance window. Then a single button takes you to the login form, which is the actual application.
For you the welcome screen is a checkpoint. If the address bar matches the link your desk sent, the screen is plain, and the only thing it offers is a login button, you are in the right place. If it offers anything else, stop and read the next section.
What the real welcome to 99exch does not have
- A registration or sign up form. There is no public signup on 99exch; the 99exch sign up page explains why.
- A mobile number or OTP field.
- A download button pushing an APK. The panel runs in the browser.
- A WhatsApp number printed on it. The panel does not run desks; desks run on their own numbers.
Clone welcome screens and how to spot them
Because the welcome screen is simple, it is easy to copy. Clone sites reproduce the logo and the welcome text, then add the one thing the real panel never has: a form that collects something. Compare before you click.
| Check | Real welcome to 99exch | Clone |
|---|---|---|
| Address | Matches the link in your desk chat exactly | Extra words, hyphens or a different extension you were not given |
| Buttons | Login only | Login plus Register, Download, or a WhatsApp number |
| What the login asks | Username and password | Mobile number, OTP, email or UPI |
| Arrival | You opened it from the desk chat | You came from a search ad, a Telegram forward or a group link |
| After a failed login | "Invalid username or password" | Redirects you to another site, or asks you to "verify" with a payment |
If you typed your 99exch username and password into a clone, message the desk and ask for a reset straight away. The 99exch com login password page explains how resets work and why no email link exists.
Past the welcome screen: your first ten minutes on 99exch
You have a 99exch new ID, you clicked through the welcome screen and the login worked. Resist the urge to find a match and bet. Do these five things first; they take ten minutes and they prevent most of the problems we see in a player's first week.
- Change the temporary password. Account menu, change password. Note the new one somewhere that is not the WhatsApp chat.
- Find balance and exposure. Top strip. Understand that exposure is reserved money, not lost money. The my 99exch page explains both.
- Open one cricket market. See the blue back column and the pink lay column. Hover or tap a price and watch the bet slip appear. Do not confirm anything yet.
- Find the bet list and the statement. You will use the statement every week.
- Log out and log in again. Confirm the new password works before you rely on it.
Then close the panel. Deposit another day, after you have read the cricket betting page and know what a session line is.
Welcome to 99exch on a phone
On mobile the welcome screen is the same, but the login that follows lands you on the mobile lobby, which some players know by its path as 99exch com m home. It is a stacked layout: sports list behind a menu button, balance strip at the top, in-play matches first. Everything the desktop layout has is there, just one tap deeper. The 99exch app page explains how to pin it to your home screen so you do not have to type the address again, and why that beats any APK.
If the welcome screen opens on Wi-Fi but not on mobile data, your network is blocking that extension. Ask the desk for the current alternative, for example 99exch green; the same ID and balance are there.
The welcome screen on a slow connection
On a weak signal the welcome screen is often the only part of the panel that loads, because it is small and static. Players then tap Login, nothing happens, and they assume the panel is down or the page is fake. Usually neither.
- Button does nothing. The login form's script has not arrived yet. Wait ten seconds, or reload once on a better signal.
- Welcome loads, login form never appears. Same cause, or a blocker. Toggle Wi-Fi and data; pause the blocker.
- Login form appears but submit spins forever. The request is waiting on the connection. Do not tap submit repeatedly; multiple attempts can trip the panel's lockout.
- You see the welcome screen twice. A redirect from an old address to a current one. Check the final address bar against your desk chat; redirects are normal when the panel consolidates addresses, and also a clone tactic. The address at the end is what counts.
Two welcome screens in a row
If a page shows a welcome screen, then jumps to a second welcome screen on a different address, read the second address carefully. The real panel occasionally redirects an old extension to a current one. A clone sometimes shows its own screen and then forwards you to the real panel after capturing a login attempt, so that everything "works" and you never suspect. The difference is where you typed your password: if it was on the first screen and the first address was not from your desk, reset it now.
The welcome to 99exch screen through a cricket year
The screen itself barely changes, but what it tells you follows the calendar. Knowing the rhythm means you read the notice instead of scrolling past it.
| Period | What the welcome screen tends to carry | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Weeks before the IPL | New extension addresses, reminders about official links | Update your extension note; re-pin |
| IPL season | Tournament-specific market rules, especially for rain and super overs | Read before your first session line of the season |
| Between series | Maintenance windows | Close unmatched bets before the window |
| Major ICC events | Extension changes again as blocks tighten; rules for reserve days | Expect to switch addresses; expect delays at the desk |
| Off-season | Casino promotions from the panel, product changes | Read the terms; nothing on the exchange is free |
A notice is informational. The moment a welcome screen asks you to act with money or an install, you are not on the panel.
Display settings that change how the welcome screen and lobby look
Players sometimes report that "99exch looks different today" and worry they are on a clone. Three phone settings cause most of it.
- System dark mode. Some panel versions follow it, some do not. A colour flip is not a clone.
- Text size. Large system text wraps the welcome screen's lines and can push the lobby's lay column off screen. Set the browser's text scaling to 100% for the panel if the layout breaks.
- Browser zoom. A stray pinch leaves the page zoomed. Double-tap to reset.
What a setting cannot do: add a Register button, add a field to the login, or print a WhatsApp number on the screen. Those are content, not display, and they mean a clone.
What to screenshot when you ask the desk about a welcome screen
- The full screen with the browser's address bar visible. If the pinned icon hides it, open the same address in the browser first.
- The login form, if you got that far, before typing anything.
- Any error text, exactly as shown.
With those three images the desk can answer "real or clone" in one message. Without the address bar it cannot, and will ask for it, which costs you the over you were trying to bet on.
Welcome screens that are not the panel but are not clones either
Desks and affiliate sites, this one included, sometimes show a panel-styled login card so the page looks familiar. The honest ones, like the card at the top of our homepage, have buttons only and no fields to type into; they route you to the desk, never collect credentials. If a page styled as a welcome screen has real username and password inputs but is not an address your desk sent, treat it as a clone regardless of who runs it.
Reading the notice line on the welcome to 99exch screen
Most versions of the panel carry a scrolling or static notice on the welcome screen and again in the lobby. Players ignore it because it looks like decoration. It is the only channel the exchange itself uses to talk to you, and over a year it will say five or six things that matter.
| Notice says | What it means for you | Do |
|---|---|---|
| A new domain or extension is listed | The panel expects a block on the current one | Save the new address from your desk, not from the notice alone; clones copy notices too |
| Maintenance window with times | Login and betting will be unavailable | Do not leave unmatched bets open into the window |
| Market rules for a specific tournament | Settlement details, e.g. how a rain-shortened session is treated | Read before taking session lines in that tournament |
| "Use only official links" | The exchange has seen a wave of clones | Check your pinned icon's address against your desk chat |
| Odds or limit changes on a product | Bookmaker rates or max stakes revised | Check the bet slip before assuming last week's limit |
A notice never asks you to pay anything, click a download, or message a number. If the one you are reading does, you are on a clone, whatever the logo looks like.
Welcome to 99exch on each kind of device
Android phone
The welcome screen is a single column: logo, notice, login button. After login you land on the mobile lobby. If you pinned the panel from Chrome, tapping the icon may skip the welcome screen entirely and open the lobby when a session is still alive. That is normal, not a bypass.
iPhone
Identical layout in Safari. If you added it to the home screen, it opens full-screen without Safari's address bar, which is convenient but means you cannot see the address. Open it in Safari proper once a month and check the address against your desk chat.
Laptop or desktop
The welcome screen is wider but says the same things. After login you get the desktop layout with the sports tree on the left and markets in the centre. Players who use both devices should know that the desktop and mobile sessions are the same single session: logging in on the laptop signs out the phone.
Smart TV or tablet browser
It works, slowly. Tablets are fine. TV browsers often have no modern script support and show the welcome screen but fail at the login step. Use a phone.
Bookmarks, history and the welcome to 99exch search
The phrase gets searched because people rely on browser history to find the panel again, history gets cleared, and the only thing they remember is the tab title. Fix that once and you never need the search.
- Pin the panel from your desk link. Chrome: three dots, Add to Home screen. Safari: Share, Add to Home Screen. Steps are on the 99exch app page.
- Star the desk's message that contains the current link. In WhatsApp, long-press, star. Starred messages are two taps away.
- Delete other "99exch" bookmarks and shortcuts. Especially ones created from search results. Having two icons is how people end up on the wrong one.
- When the extension changes, re-pin from the new link and delete the old icon the same day.
Why clearing history causes so many clone visits
Clearing history removes the address but not the memory of the tab title. The player types the title into search, the clone built around that exact phrase ranks, and the player types a real password into it. The login password page is the aftermath. A starred WhatsApp message prevents the whole sequence.
A thirty-second check every time the welcome screen appears
You will see the welcome to 99exch screen hundreds of times. The check below becomes automatic after a week and it is the whole defence against clones.
- Address bar: brand name plus one extension, exactly as in the desk chat. No hyphens, no extra words.
- Buttons: Login only. No Register, no Download, no WhatsApp number printed.
- Notice: about domains, maintenance or rules. Never about paying or installing.
- After the button: username and password fields only.
- After login: your balance, the one you expect, top right.
Five ticks, carry on. One cross, close the page and send the desk a screenshot with the address bar visible. The 99exch red and 99exch win pages explain the extension addresses you will legitimately see over time, so a changed extension on its own is not a cross.
What a welcome screen looks like during a block
Nothing. It does not load, or the browser shows a connection error. A welcome screen that loads but behaves oddly is a clone, not a block. A screen that does not load at all is a block, and the 99exch green page covers what to do.
Welcome to 99exch questions
It is the first screen the 99exch panel shows before the login form: a logo, a short welcome line and a login button. Players search the phrase because it is the page title they see in their browser tab. It is not a separate website.
Usually a script blocked by an ad blocker, or a very slow connection where the page rendered before its scripts loaded. Pause the blocker, reload, or try the mobile path. If it still fails, the address may be a clone rather than the panel.
Yes. Every extension address of the panel shows the same welcome screen and the same login. The same ID, password and balance sit behind each of them.
No. There is no registration on 99exch. If the welcome screen you are looking at has a Register or Sign Up form that asks for mobile and OTP, it is not the panel. IDs are issued by a desk on WhatsApp.
Log in, change the temporary password, then look at the balance strip, open one cricket market and find the back and lay columns. Do not deposit on the first visit.
