What an ID is, how we set one up on WhatsApp, and what to check before you pay anything
What a 99exch ID actually is
A 99exch ID is a username and password on a 99exch exchange panel. That's it. It isn't a membership, a card or a document. With it you can log in, see your balance, and place bets on the markets the panel offers.
What makes it different from signing up on an ordinary website is that every ID sits under an agent. The agent creates the ID on the panel, adds balance when you deposit, takes balance off and pays you when you withdraw, and resets your password if you lose it. We are that agent for the IDs we issue. We don't own the exchange software. We run the desk that gives you access to it and handles your money in and out.
This is why it matters who you get your ID from. The agent is the person holding your deposits until they are on the panel, and the person you depend on to pay out. Choose one you can reach, who answers straight questions in writing.
How to get a 99Exch ID, step by step
The same process we follow for every new player
Send a first message
Tap a WhatsApp button on this page. The chat opens with a short message already typed. You can send it as it is or write your own.
Answer three questions
We ask for a name for the account, a username you would like, and whether you'll deposit by UPI or bank transfer.
Get your login
We create the ID and send the username, a temporary password and the panel link in the same chat. You log in and change the password.
Deposit when ready
Only when you decide to. We send payment details in the chat, you pay, send the UTR number, and we load the balance.
A sample first message
You don't need to write anything formal. Something like this gives us everything we need in one go:
If you're not sure yet, just say "I'd like a demo ID first" and we'll set that up instead. Usernames are often taken, so give a second choice or let us suggest one. Avoid using your phone number or full date of birth as a username.

We don't ask for Aadhaar or PAN photos to create a basic ID. If someone claiming to be a 99exch agent asks you to send identity documents over chat, think carefully about who will be holding those images afterwards.
The right-hand column is worth memorising. A real deposit only ever needs you to enter your PIN in your own UPI app. Anyone asking for it, for any reason, is trying to take money, not give you an ID.

If you've never used an exchange, start with the demo. The most expensive beginner mistake we see is a lay bet at high odds. Laying ₹500 at 6.0 puts ₹2,500 at risk, not ₹500, and on a real ID that liability is blocked from your balance the moment the bet is matched. Making that mistake with play money costs nothing. Questions to ask before your first deposit
The panel sets the minimums and limits, and they can change. So rather than printing numbers here that may be out of date, we confirm them on WhatsApp before you pay. Ask these, and keep the answers in the chat:
- What is the minimum deposit right now?
- What is the minimum withdrawal, and is there a maximum per day?
- How long does a withdrawal usually take, and at what hours do you process them?
- Is there any charge on deposits or withdrawals?
- Which account will the payment details come from, and will they ever change? If they do change, the new details should come in this same chat, not from another number.
- What happens to my bets if a match is abandoned or a session is cancelled?
An agent who won't answer these in writing before taking money is telling you something. A good answer is specific, even if it's "withdrawals can take longer late at night".

What happens after you have an ID
Once the ID is live, the WhatsApp chat you opened it in becomes your account desk. Everything goes through it:
- Deposits: you ask, we send current payment details, you pay and send the UTR, we load the balance and confirm.
- Withdrawals: you request an amount, we check it against your available balance (not money tied up in open bets), and pay it to an account in your name. See the withdrawal guide.

- Questions about a bet: send a screenshot of the bet list. We can explain how a market settled, but we can't change a result.
Keep the chat. Deleting it deletes your record of payment details, UTR numbers and what was agreed. If you change phone, back up WhatsApp first.
Pausing or closing your ID
You can stop at any time and you don't have to give a reason. Tell us which you want:
- Pause: we lock the ID for a period you choose, such as a week, a month or until after a tournament. We hold to the date you chose, so an urge to "just unlock it for one match" doesn't undo the decision.
- Close: we settle anything open, pay out the remaining available balance to your account, and deactivate the ID.

18+ only. Betting is paid entertainment with real financial risk, never a way to earn money. What a 99exch ID costs over a year if you barely use it
Nothing. There is no inactivity fee, no annual charge, no maintenance deduction. A 99exch ID with ₹500 on it that is not logged into for a year still has ₹500 on it, provided the desk is still there. The only costs on an ID are the ones you generate: commission on exchange winnings and the house edge on casino play. That is why "ID charge" and "renewal fee" are such reliable scam markers: nothing on the real exchange is billed by time.
Things you cannot do with a 99exch ID
- Transfer it to another person. The desk will not, and the panel has no mechanism for it.
- Move it to another desk. IDs belong to the agent account that created them. A new desk is a new ID.
- Merge two IDs. Withdraw from one, deposit to the other.
- Send balance to a friend's ID. There are no player-to-player transfers. Withdraw to your bank; they deposit to theirs.
- Hold it in a currency other than rupees. Balance units are INR-equivalent. Any "USDT ID" or "crypto balance" offer is not 99exch.
Those limits are also protections. An ID that cannot be transferred cannot be stolen by social engineering the desk into moving it. The my 99exch page covers the account area where the balance actually lives.
ID, account, panel, book: the words people mix up
Half the confusion in a first chat is vocabulary. These four words get used interchangeably and they are not the same.
- Panel. The 99exch website, on whichever extension is open. Where markets and your balance live.
- ID. Your username on that panel, created under a desk. What you log in with.
- Account. Usually means the same as ID. Occasionally a player means their bank account; say which.
- Book. Older slang for the desk or agent, from "bookmaker". "My book" means "my desk". It also appears in "green book", which means a hedged position that profits whatever happens.
So: you have an ID on the panel, issued by your book, and you deposit to the book, not to the panel. Say it that way and any desk will understand you.
If a friend asks you how to get a 99exch ID
You will be asked. Here is the honest version to pass on, in the order that keeps them safe.
- "There is no signup. A desk makes it." Send them to a desk you have actually used, not a number from a group.
- "It costs nothing. Anyone charging for the ID is scamming."
- "Get a demo first." Especially if they have never seen a lay column.
- "Never search for the link. Ask the desk." The single most useful sentence you can give them.
- "Two passwords, change the first on day one."
- "Decide a weekly amount before you deposit, and tell the desk."
- "It is restricted in India and the law tightened in 2025. Read about that before you deposit." Point them at the is 99exch safe guide.
- "Don't share my ID. Get your own." Shared IDs break the one-session rule and cannot be supported.
If they are under 18 or already in trouble with betting, the right answer is no, and you will be doing them a favour. The responsible gaming page says the same thing in more words.
What a 99exch ID stores, and what it does not
Players imagine an account with a profile, an email, a KYC status and a wallet. A 99exch ID is thinner than that, and knowing exactly what it holds tells you what can go wrong and what cannot.

Consequences: the exchange cannot contact you, which is why there is no email reset. It cannot pay you, which is why the desk does. And it holds nothing that identifies you beyond the username, which is why a leaked 99exch password exposes a balance, not an identity. The kinds of 99exch ID you will hear about, and which are real
- Real ID. The standard username with your deposits as balance. The only kind that matters.
- Demo ID. Real, temporary, play money. Issued by the desk for learning. Closed after a few days.
- "VIP ID", "master ID", "premium ID". Not real as products for players. On the panel, "master" refers to agent-level accounts, which you cannot have. A player offered a VIP ID is being sold a normal ID with a story.
- "Win ID", "red ID", "green ID". Not real. Extensions do not create ID types. Your ID works on every extension; see 99exch win.
- "Casino ID" versus "sports ID". Not separate on 99exch. One ID, one balance, both sections.
- "Verified ID". Meaningless on a panel with no KYC. The verification that exists is the desk paying only to your own name.
If an offer names an ID type from the second half of that list, the offer is the product, not the ID.
Dormant IDs, limits and what a desk can change
Dormant IDs
If you stop logging in for months, nothing happens to the balance; it sits there. Some panel versions require a password reset after a long gap, which the desk does. Before a long break, withdraw. A balance you are not using is a balance that is not in your bank.
Limits
Minimum and maximum stakes per market are set by the exchange and shown on the bet slip. A desk can request a review of maximums for an established ID; it cannot set them itself. Minimum deposit and withdrawal figures are set by the panel and can change, which is why we confirm them in the chat each time instead of printing numbers that go stale.

Your first deposit on a 99exch ID: the exact exchange of messages
This is the conversation as it should go. If yours goes differently, notice where.
- You: "Deposit details please, for username ___."
- Desk: Sends the UPI ID or bank details, dated today. States the current minimum.
- You: Pay from your own UPI or bank. Wait for "success", not "pending".
- You: "Paid ₹___ at __:__. UTR ___." Screenshot attached.
- Desk: "Matched. ₹___ loaded." Your balance updates.
- You: Refresh the lobby, confirm the figure.
Red flags at each step: payment details sent before you asked; a minimum quoted as a sales pitch rather than a rule; a request to pay to a different account than the one in the message; a request for your UPI PIN "to confirm"; a credit that does not match the UTR amount. Closing a 99exch ID properly
Withdraw the balance first, to your own account. Confirm it arrived. Then tell the desk to close the ID. We confirm the closure in writing. If there is a small balance left that is under the panel's minimum withdrawal, say so; we refund it to the account you deposited from.
