99Exch App Download: Is There a Real APK, and Do You Need One?
Myths about the 99exch app, how clone apps work, and a safer way to get an app-style icon

"Send me the 99exch app" is one of the most common first messages we get. The honest answer is that you do not need one, and we do not send APK files. This post explains why, what we have seen go wrong with apps passed around on WhatsApp and Telegram, and how to put the panel on your home screen so it opens like an app anyway.

Myth 1: "There is an official 99exch app on the Play Store"
We are not aware of one, and we would be suspicious of any listing that claims to be it. Real-money betting apps face strict rules on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store in India, and the panel is built to run in a mobile browser. When someone shows you a store listing with a 99exch logo, check who the developer is and what the app actually does. Many such listings are unrelated apps or "guides" using the name for downloads.
Myth 2: "You need the APK to log in on mobile"
You do not. 99exch is a website. The same username and password work in Chrome on Android and Safari on iPhone. Everything on the panel, from the market list to the bet slip and your account statement, is available in the browser. An APK adds nothing you need, and it adds one thing you do not: software from an unknown source with access to your phone.
Myth 3: "The APK is faster and safer"
Most "exchange apps" passed around in chats are thin wrappers that load a website inside an app shell. They are rarely faster than the browser. Safety is the bigger problem. A browser keeps the website boxed in. An installed app can ask for permissions a website never gets, and once you tap "Allow", it keeps them.
Red flags of a clone or malicious app
These are the warning signs players describe to us most often after something has gone wrong:

Already installed one? Do this now
- Turn on airplane mode so the app cannot send anything while you clean up.
- Remove its special access. On Android, open Settings and check Accessibility, Notification access, Device admin apps and "Install unknown apps". Switch off anything the betting app was given. The exact menu names vary by phone brand.
- Uninstall the app. If uninstall is greyed out, remove it from Device admin apps first.
- Change your passwords from a different, clean device if you can: your 99exch ID first, then email and any banking app you opened while it was installed.
- Check your bank and UPI history. If you see payments you did not make, call your bank at once and report it at cybercrime.gov.in or on 1930, the national cyber-fraud helpline.

Android (Chrome)
- Open the panel link your agent sent you in Chrome.
- Tap the three-dot menu at the top right.
- Tap Add to Home screen (on some versions it says Install app), then confirm.
iPhone (Safari)
- Open the panel link in Safari.
- Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up).
- Scroll down, tap Add to Home Screen, then tap Add.
Before you add it, check the address bar shows exactly the domain your agent gave you. The icon will open whatever address you saved, so it is worth getting right once.
Small settings that help on mobile
- Keep Chrome or Safari updated. Browser updates fix security holes, and an outdated browser is the usual cause of the panel loading badly.
- Do not let the browser save your password on a shared phone. Anyone who picks up the phone could open your ID.
- Expect one session at a time. Logging in on your laptop will usually sign you out on your phone. That is normal, not a hack.
- Use a stable connection for in-play bets. On weak mobile data, a bet can be sent late and rejected after the price moves. Always check your bet list for "matched".
- Lock your phone. A screen lock is the cheapest security you will ever add.
