How to Get a 99Exch ID: The WhatsApp Chat, Message by Message
What you type, what we reply, and what to check before any money moves

People are often nervous before their first message to an ID desk, mostly because they have heard stories about fake agents. So instead of describing the process in general terms, this post shows the actual conversation as it usually runs on our WhatsApp, with the reasons behind each question. If the chat you are having with anyone, us included, goes very differently from this, slow down and ask why.

Before you open the chat
Have these ready. It saves a lot of back and forth:
- The name you want on the account. Ideally the same name as on the bank or UPI account you will pay from and withdraw to.
- Two or three username ideas. Short, letters and numbers only. Popular names are often taken on the panel.
- How you plan to deposit: UPI or bank transfer.
- A budget you have already decided on. Decide it now, not after your first bet.
The conversation, step by step
1. Your opening message
One line is enough. Any of these work:
You: Namaste, 99exch ki new ID chahiye.
You: New to exchanges. Can I get a demo ID first?
If you are completely new, the third one is the best choice. A demo ID runs on play balance, so you can see the back and lay columns, place a few practice bets and find your way around the panel without paying anything.
2. What we ask you
That is the whole list. We ask for the name so a later withdrawal can be matched to your bank account, the username because it is your login, and the deposit method so we send you the right payment details. You are not asked for Aadhaar or PAN photos to get a basic ID, and you should be careful with anyone who asks for document scans over chat.

This is the step most people skip. Before you pay a rupee, ask:

Pay only to the details sent in that same chat, from an account in your own name. Copy the 12-digit UTR (sometimes shown as "UPI transaction ID" or "UPI Ref No") from your payment app and send it with the screenshot. Save that panel link somewhere you can find it, such as a pinned message or a home-screen shortcut. Searching Google for "99exch login" each time is how people end up typing their password into a clone page.
Checklist for your first ten minutes

Things that go wrong, and the fix
- "Username already taken." That is why you send two or three. We pick the first free one and tell you.
- You paid from a family member's account. Tell us straight away. It can usually be sorted, but withdrawals will go to an account in the ID holder's name, so plan for that.
- You lost the chat. New phone, reinstalled WhatsApp? Message us from the same number with your username. Never send your password, even to us.
- Someone else messages you claiming to be "99exch support". We do not cold-message players from new numbers with offers. Ignore it and check with us.
Before you place real bets

Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to get a 99exch ID?
The chat itself usually takes a few minutes. The ID is ready once we have your details and, for a real-money ID, once your first deposit is confirmed. A demo ID can be set up without any payment.
Do I need to send documents?
Not for a basic ID. We ask for a name, a preferred username and your deposit method. We never ask for your password, OTP, UPI PIN or card details.
